The company continues to expand its operations with a diverse range of fabrics and products. With four sister concerns located in Sreepur stand, Ganakbari Savar from Dhaka—and its head office based in Dhaka, Shamser Knit has firmly established its presence.
Backed by professional departments in Laboratory, Design & Fashion, R&D, and Product Development, Shamser Knit Fashions Ltd. offers a fully integrated vertical production system. This includes knitting, dyeing, fabric finishing, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, washing, garment finishing, and timely shipment to meet the demands of global customers. We continuously invest in upgrading technologies, software, and our vertical capabilities. A culture of collective responsibility defines our teamwork—production faults are not seen as individual failures, but as shared challenges that everyone involved is responsible for solving.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Md. Harun-or-Rashid has poured his full dedication into shaping and leading his companies. As a visionary pioneer, he has established factory buildings with the appearance and functionality of modern office complexes—incorporating comprehensive fire safety and security systems. In terms of management, he is highly skilled in identifying the right talent and positioning individuals where they can be most effective. Fundamentally, Mr. Harun-or-Rashid avoids expanding production lines that do not align with environmental and social responsibilities.
Mr. Harun-or-Rashid has been recognized as one of the nation’s Commercially Important Persons (CIP) by the Ministry of Industries in the years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for his significant contributions to export earnings, social welfare, and environmental sustainability. In 2014, he was also named CIP by the Ministry of Commerce for his outstanding role in exports. Furthermore, he was honored with the prestigious “President’s Award for Industrial Development” in 2016, 2017, and 2018 in the small-scale industry category.
His contributions have earned him multiple accolades, including the International Quality Control Award (Gold Category – QC 100) in London in 2014. Additionally, he received the Environmentally Knit Composite Factory Award in 2012, organized by IFC, UK Aid, NORAD, and BGMEA.
